Ash's Truly Fantastic Trip - Toronto & Niagara Falls

Earlier this year, Ash from our team had the incredible opportunity to join the first-ever VIP Trip, organised by Canadian Affair, to Toronto and Niagara Falls. It was five days packed with excitement, awe-inspiring views, and unforgettable experiences, and we just had to share it with you.

Here’s what Ash had to say:

“This was the first VIP Trip, and from the moment we sipped Bucks Fizz in the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge at Heathrow, to the moment we landed back in London five days later, we were treated to the most incredible hospitality and experiences.

After checking in with Air Canada and enjoying the lounge, our adventure began with a sunny sightseeing tour aboard the Hop-On Hop-Off Bus. It’s such a great way to see the best of a new city, from Casa Loma to the Hockey Hall of Fame, and we were lucky enough to catch all the views from the top deck.

Then came the iconic CN Tower. In just 50 seconds, we were soaring to the observation level, where panoramic views of Toronto stretched as far as the eye could see. For the brave, there’s a glass floor to walk across and even an Edge Walk for the real thrill-seekers!

After a scenic 90-minute drive around Lake Ontario, we arrived at Niagara Falls. Our group took the 'Voyage to the Falls' boat tour - a firm favourite! We were completely immersed in the power and spray of the incredible Horseshoe Falls (ponchos thankfully included!), and the roar of the water was something I’ll never forget.

The grand finale? A breathtaking helicopter ride over Niagara Falls. Even though I’m not great with heights, the views of both the Canadian and American falls were truly once-in-a-lifetime. It was the perfect way to end our adventure.

Our accommodation really added to the experience too  from the centrally located Chelsea Hotel in Toronto to the stunning Fallsview King Jacuzzi rooms at the Sheraton in Niagara Falls, with views so good they looked like something out of a painting.

Before this trip, I knew I wanted to visit Canada  but I never expected to fall in love with it like I did. The people are so welcoming, the cities so vibrant, and the natural beauty simply breathtaking. This was a twin-centre trip I’ll never forget.”
